Photo Booth Hire - Terms & Conditions

Whether you live in Alnwick, Billingham, Bishop Auckland, Blyth, Chester Le Street, Consett, Cramlington, Darlington, Durham, Hartlepool, Hebburn, Hexham, Jarrow, Middlesborough, Morpeth, Newcastle, Newton Aycliffe, Peterlee, Redcar, South Shields, Stanley, Stockton, Sunderland, Tynemouth, Washington, Whitley Bay or Yarm we'd be delighted to cover your event.

Definitions

 

‘The Guestbooth’ – Clubhouse And The Guestbooth Limited

‘The Hirer’ – The individual(s) or organization(s) who made the booking

 

General

 

By placing an order with us, either online, verbally or in writing or by email, regardless of whether a booking form has been returned or deposit paid it is deemed that the Hirer has read, fully understood, fully agreed to and is bound by these terms and conditions.

 

The PhotoBooth (Booth), props and all equipment supplied with the hire of the Booth remains the property of The Guestbooth. Should any equipment or props be damaged or stolen then the hirer will be responsible for paying The Guestbooth to replace anything which has been damaged or stolen.

 

The Guestbook reserves the right to substitute hired equipment of a similar type and value without notice in the event of previous damage or loss of booked equipment.

 

The Guestbooth retains the right to use ANY of the photos taken in the booth at any event for advertising, marketing and promotions.

 

Venue Access, Site Location, Facilities

 

It is the responsibility of the hirer(s) to ensure that:

 

Parking is available for our vehicles during the hire period. Access to the venue for parking, unloading and setting up is unrestricted and space is made available for the booth at its setup location.

 

A safe and functioning plug socket is located next to the booth area and a table is available for the use of The Guestbooth for guests to sign your guestbook.

 

The Guestbooth is informed at the time of booking of any access restrictions that may impact the ability of The Guestbooth to set up or operate the equipment. This includes but is not exclusive to stairs, lifts, difficult small entrances, and parking restrictions

 

Hire Period

 

The Hire Period will commence at the time stated on the booking form or the first time you or one of your guests use the booth, whichever is earlier.

 

If, due to circumstances solely within the control of The Guestbooth (E.g. Late Arrival or Equipment Malfunction), the Booth is not available for use during the agreed hire period The Guestbooth will either make up the lost time by delaying the end time or will refund the Hirer the lost time at a rate of £80 per hour.

 

If the Booth is unavailable or unused due to circumstances beyond the control of The Guestbooth (Eg. access to the venue is restricted, there is a power outage or other aspects of the event overrun) then the hire will end as stated on the booking form and no refund will be given.  

 

Good Conduct

 

The Guestbooth staff will converse with people using the Booth in a fun and friendly manner and expect that this will be reciprocated at all times. The Guestbooth reserves the right to terminate the hire at any point without refund or notice if it is felt that continuing the hire might result in a risk of injury to The Guestbooth staff or other individuals in the vicinity or damage to the Booth or other equipment. Reasons include but are not restricted to; Violence, abusive language or behavior deemed threatening and damage to the booth.

 

Prices & Payments

 

Prices will be confirmed at the time of booking and will cover the Hire Period stipulated on the booking form. Any request to extend the Hire Period beyond that which was originally agreed will be subject to additional charges & it will be at sole discretion of The Guestbooth whether to agree to such an extension.  

 

Bookings will only be secured when all booking details have been provided, confirmed AND a non-refundable booking fee of £50 has been paid.

 

The balance due on your booking must be paid no later than 30 days before your event.

 

Cancellation

 

The Guestbooth will make every reasonable effort to attend all paid for bookings. In the unlikely event that circumstances occur that prevent us from attending we will:

a.Notify you as soon as it practical to do so

b.Refund any monies paid by the Hirer in connection with this event. This will be the limit of our liabilities – No additional compensation will be paid irrespective of any loss of earnings, inconvenience or distress caused.

 

If the Hirer wishes to cancel the booking they can do so at any time providing:

-Any remaining balance due on the booking is paid in full at the time of the cancellation

-Written confirmation of the cancellation is provided to The Guestbooth either by email (info@theguestbooth.co.uk) or registered post.

 

Data & Privacy Policy

 

Any personal data you provide will be used only for the purposes of responding to your enquiry & managing any booking you may make. Information will not be passed to any third parties.
